A 50-truck fleet that needed 23 people to run it
A logistics operator was running a 50-truck fleet with 23 people and almost entirely manual coordination. Growth meant hiring proportionally — which made growth unaffordable.
The outcome
People operating the fleet
Fleet capacity (50 → 75+ trucks)
Annual payroll savings
(client estimate)
The problem
Dispatch, tracking, driver coordination, and reporting were handled by people, not systems. Every new truck meant more coordination overhead, and more coordination overhead meant more headcount.
The operation worked — but it could not scale. Adding capacity meant adding payroll at the same rate, which put a hard ceiling on the business.
What we built
A custom operations platform built around how the fleet actually ran — not a generic off-the-shelf tool the team would have to work around.
A companion mobile application so drivers and field staff fed data into the system directly, at the source, instead of phoning it in to be re-typed by someone in the office.
The coordination work that used to occupy a full team became something the software handles continuously.
The point was never to cut the team. It was to stop tying growth to headcount — the same five people now run an operation 150% larger than the one that used to take twenty-three.
Client identities are withheld by policy. We don't turn our clients' operations into marketing material — the figures come from the engagement itself.
